Prof. Yoshio Ueno wins English Linguistic Society of Japan book prize!

Professor Yoshio Ueno received the 2015 book award from the English Linguistic Society of Japan (日本英語学会) for An Automodular View of English Grammar, which he published from Waseda University Press in 2014. The award ceremony was held on November 21 during the national convention of the society. His book is based on the latest version of Automodular Grammar, which is a non-derivational generative grammar developed by Jerry Sadock in the Department of Linguistics at the University of Chicago in his 2012 book, The Modular Architecture of Grammar, from Cambridge University Press.
