CELESE held its Spring Semester Teacher Workshop, one of four annual workshops, on Friday, April 5th in order to prepare for the new academic year and the first semester. The workshop covered the entire CELESE program in detail beginning with an opening statement from the Directore and overall program description from the Program Coordinator. The respective course coordinators described each course in detail and led some discussion time on how teachers can best implement the program in the Waseda academic environment. After lunch there was a session on how to make effective use of various web resources such as Course N@vi and the CELESE web site in day-to-day teaching.
It was a long day, stretching from 10am to 5pm, but a highly productive session for CELESE. We thank all the teachers for their participation and look forward to AY2013.
