Naho Orita’s computational modeling study now in Discourse Processes

Associate Professor Naho Orita‘s new article examines whether use of a pronoun motivated by topicality or efficiency using computational models. The article was recently published in Discourse Processes. It is titled “Informativity, topicality, and speech cost: comparing models of speakers’ choices of referring expressions” and is co-authored with Naomi Feldman and Eliana Vornov.
