We are pleased to announce a public lecture by Professor Edward (Ted) Gibson.
Professor Edward (Ted) Gibson is a professor in the Department of Brain and Cognitive Sciences at MIT and one of the internationally most prominent researchers on the cognitive mechanisms of human language comprehension and production. As a member of fieldwork teams on minority languages in the Amazon region, he has published stimulating papers on the relationship between language and culture and why human languages are designed the way they are.
