Following are the sublists of academic words used in 2nd Year classes (Academic Reading 1, 2 and Concept Building and Discussion 1, 2).
The above academic word sublists are based on the Academic Word List by Averil Coxhead (2000). The CELESE 1a and 1b sublists correspond to the Coxhead Sublist 1, CELESE 2a and 2b correspond to Coxhead 2, and so on. All CELESE sublists contain 30 word families.
